I love remixes.
Call it what you may. Remix, Exchange Art, Art XChange, Collab... whatever. Here's a contest that I was inspired to enter because of the simplicity of it all. That is, until I decided to take it one step further. The contest is from Be-lover228.[link] Basically the rules were simple- add an effect to his artwork (more like a collab work). Well the challenge was easy enough to get me off my lazy butt. His timing was impeccable too... as I took a day off work coz I had (and actually still have) this bloody aweful cough. Anyways I decided to go a step further... and still be within the contest rules. So I decided to draw his character completely. Why not? If it helps him or better -- inspires him, then I'd feel happy about that. So here she is -- Maddy. Hope you like her. Be-lover's got a nice comic series too about this girl. Wish you all the best B'. And with this submission, hopefully you'll get other entries from "da" great artists out there. Afterall, who which one of you guys can pass off this opportunity? Compared to a lot of people, I'm pretty slow at evolving my style. But that's good because I'm doing how-to-draw-manga book and it's going to be aimed at beginners, FOR beginners. My goal is to bridge the gap between what I call "Newbs", "Avers" and "Pros". A lot of the books out there on the market assume you're at least an average artist.
btw, thank for the comment on how great my comic is. anything that you think I should improve on or a story that you want me to add in?

Personally, I'm not too good with stories. You have a good start... I guess you just need to figure out what she's going to do with her bust. Make a list
But I would suggest you stick with the anime style. It's easier than the muscle-pumped american style, and also more appealing.

Actually, I was afraid I'd never finish this if it went for longer than a day. We'll see if I can finish version 2 (after the magic) in time ; ) Just need to enlarge a couple vectors, hehehehheh.
